Stencibility residency is a two-week spraycation in Tartu, Estonia for two artists from Europe, selected through an open call. The residency gives artists time and space to truly focus on creating site-specific works, get to know the town and create works that fit Tartu and its community. For gathering inspiration, we will introduce you to the local artists, show the key artistic spaces and make sure you will meet the gems of the community.

For us, the most important thing in street art is the creative freedom of the artists, so we won't ask for sketches in advance. But with this freedom also comes responsibility – we expect the artists to care about the local city dwellers and create artworks that resonate with their surroundings. We will offer you a list of available walls, but we’re also open to finding new walls or other locations if you have something specific in mind.

During the residency, participating artists will create at least one artwork in public space. In addition, all residency artists will create at least one work during the festival week (June 11–14). On top of that, for the first time ever, Stencibility is organising a street art auction and exhibition in Tallinn, with resident artists warmly invited to take part in this exciting new project.
